The second-oldest and best medical college in Bangladesh is Jahurul Islam Medical College. The medical college was established in 1992 and is located in the lovely Bangladeshi town of Bajitpur. A natural humanitarian, the late Mr. Jahurul Islam founded these organizations. The college is ranked among Bangladesh's top five private medical schools.

The Jahurul Islam Medical College's MBBS program lasts five years, after which there is a one-year internship. The college is associated with Dhaka University and the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Clinic (BMDC), and it has been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Admission
