Dhaka Community Medical College (DCMC) was established in 2008 by Dhaka Community Hospital Trust as a private medical institution in Dhaka, Bangladesh. They focus on developing competent physicians with community orientation who can afford the cost of medical education. The college offers an MBBS program which runs for five years, and is approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare & Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).

The campus of Dhaka Community Medical College is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh in the city center. It is now a twelve-storeyed high (under construction) building that houses pre-clinical, paraclinical, and clinical academic activities. At the nearby 500-bed hospital complex are offered teaching services including clinical services and training activities. The college has access to urban and rural healthcare centers in different parts of Bangladesh.

Eligibility

To get accepted into Dhaka Community Medical College, applicants need to meet the following criteria:

● The applicant needs to have received a qualifying NEET score. 

● An applicant must have been 17 years old as of July 31 of that year to be accepted to study MBBS abroad in Bangladesh.

● In their 10+2 or comparable test, students had to select English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

● Students from India must complete senior high school from an approved board and receive at least a 50% combined score in physics, chemistry, and biology to be eligible to study MBBS at Dhaka Community Medical College. The 40th percentile is SC/ST/OBC.
